The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving forward.
What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean vacuum robot carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a set path.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
