Roborock V3S Pro
The robot doesn't have as many features as some of the more expensive models we evaluated however, it does have all the essentials. It has a huge enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt before it's time to empty it, and its mop and vacuum system works great on both hard floors and low-pile carpets. It is also very quiet. We could watch television while it was cleaning without feeling as though we were being overwhelmed by noise.
Our testers were very impressed with how here easy the machine was to use and set up. They also loved its ability to remove all the messes from their floors. It did a good job getting rid of pet hair, messes and carpeting, but it was a bit more difficult at eliminating stubborn stains. They found the app user-friendly and intuitive, and could schedule the vacuum to clean regularly to reduce the amount they needed to do manually. It doesn't feature the ability to avoid objects or map technology, which means it cannot be used to send specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries work).
Another model from iRobot's affordable line which is the V3S Pro has some impressive features for the price. It was the best robot vacuum in our tests for navigating and avoiding obstacles. It's also a great budget choice for those looking for a smarter, self-emptying robotic vacuum that can take care of pet messes and hair on hardwood floors and carpets with low pile. It's also quiet and has a huge dust bin that can hold plenty of debris before it's time to empty it.
Although the V3S Pro didn't earn a place in our top picks compilations from trusted sources that perform hands-on testing, it still received high marks from reviewers from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient.
